During the Bar Rescue makeover, Jon Taffer decided to change the name of GI Jodi's to Malloy's Bar & Grill and the bar has kept the name. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Malloy's Bar & Grill since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):
Positive Reviews:
- "New favorite place we've been here once a week the food is amazing and the portions are huge. The wait staff bar/bar tenders are super. I can't even begin to explain how good the Pastrami is. We will be back soon."
- "They did a major renovation on this place! Redid the menu and lost their dive bar feel of the old GI Jodi's. I've had a couple of their dishes from the new menu and all have been good. Still has that small town bar touch, but with a facelift."
- "I had an amazing experience here! The bartender Jennifer was awesome! And the foofoo drink with cotton candy was delicious! The atmosphere is sleek, up to date and inviting. A great place for girls night out or date night. The menu looked great too although I wasn't there to eat."
- "Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Will be returning! Recommend this establishment highly!"
- "New look, new menu and really, really good food. The staff is friendly and a nice patio for warm or cool summer nights."
- "I had a very pleasant experience here. The drink menu was cool had some different stuff on it that I tried. I had already eaten but the fries looked so good I had to have one and the wings just smelled bomb diggity. Bar tender was good at what he is doing fast and friendly. All the servers were super chill and upbeat. The inside is visually appealing, I liked the patio alot. And the phone chargers on the table were super helpful!"
- "The bar is clean and the staff is professional! The outdoor area is set up well and the location is convenient. This is a good place to come and was fixed up nicely since the last owner."
Negative Reviews:
- "Might as well b.y.o.b because good luck getting any one to service you. Been in here freaking 2 times and left without even being acknowledged. Bar rescue clearly did not work!"
- "Food was terrible, service wasn't much better, but the band was good!"
