During the Bar Rescue makeover, Jon Taffer decided to change the name of Speakeasy to Second Line Co. and the bar has kept the name, but it seems they use both names interchangeably. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Second Line Co. since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):
Reviews:
There have been no reviews of The Second Line Co. since the Bar Rescue makeover besides a few reviews from regulars on Facebook.

- Here are the Facebook Pages of Amanda (owner), Keith (owner)
- It looks like one of the changes by Bar Rescue was to make the bar a non-smoking bar. (Link) It appears they have kept this change and the bar is still non-smoking.
- By looking at the events on their Facebook page, they have a lot of live music and they also do karaoke on Fridays.
- There is another bar called "The Second Line" in Kenner, LA and it is an airport hotel bar. (Link)
- Amanda posted on Facebook a few hours before the episode - "To all of my friends and family... tonight we will be on Bar Rescue at 9pm... we will be airing it at the bar and will have food out and some drink specials! Please remember although it's called reality tv it is far from reality!!! ❤ you all! Please feel free to share this!"
Conclusion:
Second Line Co. has kept the name given to them by Bar Rescue, but it seems that they use both Second Line Co. and Speakeasy interchangeably. There wasn't too much useful information or many reviews for the bar post Bar Rescue, so there wasn't too much to put in the update. Second Line Co. was changed to a non-smoking bar after Bar Rescue and it appears they have kept the bar non-smoking.
UPDATE - Speakeasy Bar & Grill closed at the end of 2017 - More info on the closure.
