Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates of M T Bottles and Cans since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar.
- There have been no reviews other than some comments on the M T Bottles and Cans Facebook Page.
- M T Bottle and Cans keeps an up to date Facebook page, although it is still named just M T Bottle. Also, here is the website set up by Bar Rescue, which is just a menu with food and drinks.
Other News and Articles:
- There are 28 comments on an article about when Bar Rescue makeover came to do the makeover at M T Bottle. There are people who say it is good as a biker bar and always seems crowded and others say the location is bad and attracts a weird crowd. There was one commenter who said "We went a while go and the top parking lot was full, so w parked around back. There was raw sewage streaming across the parking area. We left immediately and never went back." Judging by the preview video of the show, this may not have been a lie.
- According to that same article, Bar Rescue spent $100,000 on the makeover and helped them get a liquor license to serve mixed drinks.
- It looks like there were some issues with the liquor license in October, and the bar said it could be their last weekend. The liquor license was terminated, and here is a picture of the document from their Facebook page. Despite this, the bar is still operating, and I don't have any updates on the situation.
- There is also a bar called M T Bottle Too in Unionville, TN and is owned by the same owners. Here is the M T Bottle Too Facebook Page.
Conclusion:
It seems like there could be issues with the bar's liquor license, but it is unclear why there are issues or if it had anything to do with Bar Rescue. I wonder why Bar Rescue chose to come to a bar where the owner owns multiple bars. I'm sure there were probably other owners/bars out there in more need of a rescue, but I guess it is about ratings.
I will follow up and update this post if there is any more information about the liquor license situation. Let me know what you thought of the episode after watching.
Here is a video of Brandi doing a headstand in her uniform if you are interested. Judging by the comments on this post, I am guessing people are.
UPDATE 11/2015 - The bar's liquor license was revoked due to them being located in unincorporated Rutherford county. Owner Regina was hoping to get a referrendum passed to allow their liquor license (Link).
UPDATE - MT Bottles and Cans closed in December 2019 - More information on the closure.
